Axel & Hank

Mom & Dad have been having a hard time getting Axel to sleep anywhere besides the Chariot, in their arms or in the pack. Mom finally got Axel to sleep on the guest bed tonight only to find Mr. Hank passed out next to him.

The weather has been gorgeous the last few days so Ax and I enjoyed the yard today. Mom and I also got some seeds to plant so we'll see if we can grow some veggies.

I'm starting to finally get rid of my cough and feel better and even got to hang with Emerson yesterday.

All's Very Well

Things are very well here. Axel is getting big and smiley while I am trying to get over a cough I've had for a week and a half. We are all so busy playing, resting and racing that no one has taken any photos recently. See Mom's website for a recap of Mom and Dad's race last night.

Dad is headed to Gunnison on Sunday for his first big race of the year. Mom, Axel and I are staying here to play and relax. Next week Dad and I are off to Vail for the Teva Mountain Games while Mom and Axel are headed to Aspen for Polartec and then to Vail.

Smile!

This one's a little goofy, but I smile now and everyone thinks it's super cute. I met some of Mom's very good friends this weekend - Ellen, Morgan and Brooke Bodenhemier and Kathleen, Dawes and Lucia Powers.

Juniper had a blast playing with Morgan and Dawes and watching Dawes' lacrosse game in Aspen. We also finally had some sun today so it was really nice to sit outside and play.

Dad has been away for what feels like forever. Mom survived much better than she thought she would especially since Juniper and I behaved pretty well (most of the time). We had lots of play dates and things to do and enjoyed some great runs in the Chariot. I don't think any of us would be very happy without the Chariot.

Weight - Check

Mom and I took Axel in for a weight check yesterday and weight gain is not an issue. Gaining just over an ounce a day, Axel is already 8 lbs. 12 oz. Although the doc confirmed that his laryngomalacia is severe, he seems to be doing just fine.

I am also great and getting to be an expert on changing diapers, oxygen, breastfeeding and everything else baby. Dad's away all week so I'll bug Mom to take some pictures.

Lots of Love

Mimi was here for the last week and I had a blast. We went swimming three times, played all sorts of games at the house, painted, made cookies and did all sorts of other stuff. Mom and Axel even went back to work so I got to spend an entire day with Mimi.

Otherwise, Mom, Axel and I have been running with the new Chariot lots and I love being in there with Axel. I'm super helpful and give him his pacifier and make sure he's happy.
